This poster at the Wien Tourist Information Office says it all.
Our eye could not believe seeing this sign board. We had so many conspiracy theory regarding how our CCD would have flicked the logo from this shop. But then we realized that it indeed was an outlet of our own CCD. It served samosas and chai, you know.
The Old and The New The way to the Cathedral is filled with such buildings.
St. Stephen's Cathedral
Inside St. Stephen's Cathedral This is said to be one of the biggest cathedrals in the world.
Something Somewhere in Vienna
Inside some cathedral In the end, it is very difficult to remember names of the cathedrals and churches we visit. There are just too many of them on every street in these European cities.
Outside the State Opera
Something Somewhere in Vienna They have spent an astonishingly high amount to have these statues in all squares in most cities of Europe.
Could you believe they have a place called MuseumsQuartier (Museum Square) to host a set of museums. And trust me that place was not the only one where Museums are found in this city. The Tourist Information Brochure mentions about atleast 30 odd museums starting from that for Austrian History to Movies and Paper.
In the night, most of the buildings are illuminated to make them look even more beautiful. BTW, did I tell you that the sun sets at 5:30pm in Vienna and this photo was taken at around 6:30pm!!
